The Tale of Peter Rabbit
Beatrix Potter loved the countryside and spent much of her childhood drawing and studying animals. The Tale of Peter Rabbit, published in 1902, was her first book, expanded from an illustrated letter she had sent to a young friend. 2012 marks 110 years since Warne published The Tale of Peter Rabbit. In celebration, this limited edition includes a colorful cover, special endpapers, and a note explaining the history behind the book. The Tale of Peter Rabbit is the tale of a mischievous rabbit and his nerve-wracking encounter with Mr. McGregor.
